Custom Craft Shapes cuts a new path with Wrexham CNC

Custom Craft Shapes has been supplying high‑quality craft shapes to businesses and individuals across the UK for over a decade. Responding to growing demand from local companies for support with a broader range of manufacturing projects, the business has diversified with the launch of Wrexham CNC, offering CNC routing and laser cutting services tailored to commercial needs.

The expansion has been supported by a number of significant developments, including a licensing agreement with Wrexham AFC, enabling the company to manufacture a range of products using the club’s official branding. Building on this opportunity, the business is seeking to further strengthen its manufacturing capability by bringing direct‑to‑object printing in‑house, which would allow it to expand its product range and enhance the services available to customers.

Owner Steve Roberts said:
“Diversifying into Wrexham CNC has already allowed us to support local businesses in new ways, while building on the reputation we’ve developed over the last ten years. Bringing direct‑to‑object printing in‑house would be a real game‑changer for us, opening the door to new products, new markets and future growth opportunities.”

Looking ahead, the expanded services delivered through Wrexham CNC are expected to support continued business growth and create new opportunities for skills development, including the potential introduction of apprenticeships as the business expands.

Custom Craft Shapes has worked closely with the Business and Investment Team at Wrexham County Borough Council, which has provided guidance and support as the company develops its diversification plans and explores opportunities for future investment and growth within the county.

Nigel Williams, Lead Member for Economy, Business & Tourism said, “It was a pleasure to visit custom craft shapes and meet Steve who showed me around his workshop and discuss the opportunities for the future now he has a license with Wrexham AFC as well as his plans with new products on his CNC machine to diversify in the future.”

Custom Craft Shapes are based in Unit A, Bryn Business Centre, Bryn Lane, Wrexham LL13 9UT.
