What make this more special is there are only 7 that qualified in North Wales and 2 of them are in Wrexham.

Bank Street Social joins King Street Coffee Company, located in Wrexham bus station, who are celebrating their third consecutive year of being included in the guide.

“Christmas has come early”

Andy Gallanders from Bank Street Social said ‘might sound daft but it feels like Christmas has come early. It’s a huge honor to be included in this guide. We have worked incredibly hard to be able to achieve this accolade. To finally be able join King Street Coffee Company is great. Phil from KSCC not only a competitor but also my brother so the family rivalry has between us has spurred me on to achieve my shops entry’.

King Street Coffee Company first made it into the guide in 2017 and this will be the third year for the coffee shop in the bus station. Phil said “It’s great to still be considered for the guide again, I’ve used previous guides myself and over the years we have even had customers visit Wrexham just to try our coffee. It’s nice to know that we are bringing in a little bit of tourism to our town!”

“Stamp of approval”

Joe Bickerton – Wrexham Destination Manager “Both Bank Street Social and King Street Coffee have raised the bar over the last couple of years as regards delivering both great artisan coffee, contributing to community life and the visitor welcome within Wrexham. Inclusion into the Independent Coffee Guide, not only a stamp of approval for the shops but raises further awareness of Wrexham as a food and drink destination.”

Coffee lover? You can get your hands on a copy of the guide from both Bank Street Social and King Street Coffee Company.
