Tŷ Pawb is inviting former staff from the British Celanese/Courthauld’s Factory to a special reunion event!

The reunion will take place on Thursday April 18 at 2.15pm, with tea, coffee and welsh cakes provided.

This will be a chance to connect with former colleagues, and a final opportunity to contribute photographs or objects (see examples below) to Wrexham Museum’s collection and archive, in relation to the factory.

A chance to say ‘thank you’

This event marks the final week of Tŷ Pawb’s Uptwist Downtwist exhibition, which is inspired by the factory and former staff.

The reunion takes place immediately after our free lunchtime concert at 1pm, with live music by Elias Ackerley (Piano) and Jullianna Antczak (cello). All are welcome to attend the concert also.

Tŷ Pawb’s Creative Director, Jo Marsh, said: “We are so grateful to the former Celanese staff who have already participated in this project. The reunion is a chance for us to say thank you, and to welcome anyone else who would like to reconnect over memories and stories of the factory”.
