New rules for businesses trading with Europe came into force on 1 January 2021.

Get the latest COVID-19 vaccination information

If you’ve not already done so, it is worth heading to the Brexit checker on Gov.uk to see how the new changes may impact your business.

The Brexit checker offers multiple choice questions that will eventually navigate you through to a list of actions that you can take to ensure that your business complies with the new regulations.

The Brexit checker can offer guidance if you or your business:

  • Travel within the EU for work
  • Currently hire or are looking to hire employees from the EU
  • Transfer data between the UK and the EU
  • Import or Export Goods
  • Deliver services between the UK and EU

As well the site offers advice to EU citizens looking to work in the UK.

You can get help to secure your right to stay and work in the UK

Are you an EU citizen living in Wales? Do you want to secure your rights to stay in the UK? You and your family can get help with EUSS settled and pre settled status applications. Call the independent EU Citizens Rights service on 0300 3309 059 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday or email wgproject@eu.citizensadvice.org.uk
