A building that has long dominated the Wrexham skyline came crashing down with a bang this morning.

Total Demolition Services executed a controlled explosion at around 8.30am.

The former police station and custody suite will be replaced with custard and sweets, as a supermarket is set to build a store in its place.

We had a few of our cameras trained on the building this morning, but you will also be able to watch the demolition next summer on Scrap Kings, a show on Quest (The Discovery Channel).
