The final countdown is on for entries to our Calendar Competition which ends on Sunday evening.

We’ve had an eventful year with lots of snow during the winter and lots of sun into the summer so we know you’ve got lots of photos that would make a perfect calendar entry!

Images eligible for submission can be taken at any time of the year by an amateur photographer but they must be of somewhere in the county borough. 13 images will be included in the 2019 Calendar – one for the front cover and one for each month of the year. Please bear in mind the size of the images printed will be 295mm x 295mm and images should be cropped to this size or large enough to be cropped to this size.

Once again there’s no prize but the winning entries will receive a copy of the 2019 Wonders of Wrexham as a thank you and all profits from Calendar sales will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity Fund.

The Mayor, Cllr Andy Williams, said: “It’s almost time for the judging so please make sure you’ve entered your favourite shots taken over the last 12 months. We have some beautiful scenery and iconic architecture and I’m sure there’s loads of shots out there just waiting to be entered.”

You can also enter as many images as you wish which should be sent to calendar@wrexham.gov.uk

Good luck!
