There’s free parking in all council run car parks in the town centre until the end of September although we do ask visitors to observe the time limits in force to ensure popular car parks do not remain full all day.

Car parks that are free are:

  • Crescent Road
  • Guildhall
  • Library
  • Market Street
  • Tŷ Pawb

You can find out opening times and how to get there here:

HOW TO GET A TEST IF YOU’VE GOT CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS

Leader of the Council, Cllr Mark Pritchard, said “We have taken the decision to maintain free parking in our car parks in the town centre in order to support the wide variety of independent traders who are based here. ”

Cllr Terry Evans, Lead Member for Economic Development, said: “Wrexham has an excellent independent base of traders who deserve the support of people in Wrexham to help them move forward following the strict lockdown. They have gone to a lot of trouble to ensure the are able to open safely and we have also supported that work with town centre signage, a one way system on Bank Street and social distancing wardens. Please take advantage of the free parking offer in order to show your support for our traders.”
