Free swimming

Free Swimming in Wales was first launched in 2003. It was the first national free swimming programme in Wales with the aim of getting more young people aged 16 and under learning to swim.

It is a Welsh Government-funded initiative, managed by Sport Wales and delivered by the 22 Local Authorities.
