Playday will once again be coming to Wrexham, but instead of being based just in the town centre we will be spreading out across the county and asking our partners to run sessions too.
We will be celebrating Playday at all of our play sessions so check the council website or Play team facebook Tim Chwarae Wrecsam/ Wrexham Play Team to find out where we will be. There will also be a circus performer dropping into the play sessions during the whole of that week.
To mark Playday and the Summer of Play the Play and Youth Support Team will be setting a number of playful geocaches. If you are not familiar with geocaching have a look at the geocache app and start practicing your caching skills ready for Playday.
Our partners at Xplore Science will be playing in their walkway both on Playday and at the weekends either side of the event.
We will also be joining with our friends at Play Wales to hide a number of their children’s books “Fun in the Dungeon” and “Fun in the Garden” all over Wrexham, anyone lucky enough to find a copy will get to keep it.

with playful ideas on them across Wales, we will be making sure that these are spread out across Wrexham.
