The Information Office will be providing bus timetables for all operators and providing key sign posting to key services across Wrexham.

“Clean and an overall pleasant place to arrive”

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport, said: “The bus station is a very important part of the first impression to visitors into Wrexham when they arrive here so it is essential we make sure it is user friendly, clean and an overall pleasant place to arrive. I am very pleased to welcome TSL on board with us to staff the Office and to provide visitors with information on transport available, arrivals and departures and directing people to other council and visitor services in the town centre.”

“Open 6 days a week”

The Information Office will be open 6 days a week, from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 08:00am to 6:00pm and closed for a short lunch break between 12:45pm – 13:15 pm each day.

TSL currently operate the ‘easyBus’ bus service from Wrexham to both Manchester and Liverpool Airports on behalf of Stelios and the easyGroup. This service has been operating daily since October 2016 with fares starting from £4.99 one way. TSL also operate the 64 bus service from Ceiriog DC to Llangollen under the ‘easyCoach’ brand.

“Longstanding experience”

TSL Owner, Andrew Martin, says; “Our team has a longstanding experience of providing great value-for-money services to bus users both in the UK, Switzerland, and France over the last 15 years and we are excited to be working together with Wrexham Council on this new project.”

“The re-opening of the bus information office, together with the regeneration of the bus station facilities, is good news for bus users in Wrexham and we are pleased to be providing this much-needed service”.

“£73,000 grant”

The opening of the Information Office and other improvements that are taking place in the Bus Station have been made possible by a £73,000 grant from the Welsh Government and the councils budget. We are continuing to work with Welsh Government to secure further funding for bus station improvements which will provide key transport links in Wrexham Town Centre.
