There’s some exciting environmental improvements proposed for Caia Park and Plas Madoc by the Green Infrastructure Project Officer and residents in these areas are now invited to take have their say on them.

The proposals have been put together by the Green Infrastructure Officer and follow hard on the heels of improvements already seen in these areas.

No matter how mild your symptoms are, you should get a test for Coronavirus

If given the thumbs up by residents the areas will see wildlife meadows, natural foraging areas, orchards and one area will have a Scots Pine tree especially for Christmas Celebrations.

The pictures below show what’s proposed for Caia Park – Eaton Drive, Y-Wern, The Dunks, Queensway and Gwenfro and for Plas Madoc at Hampden Way and land by the Sports Field and Leisure Centre.

Green Infrastructure Project has seen huge improvements…

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport, said: “These are creative and imaginative proposals and I fully support the improvements for these areas. The work already undertaken by the Green Infrastructure Project Officer has seen large scale environmental improvements in Caia Park as was seen by the Wildflower Meadow that was in full bloom earlier in the year. Please feel free to have your say about the proposals.”
