We’re committed to protecting trees and woodlands throughout county as part of the Tree and Woodland Strategy. In partnership with the Woodland Trust, Emergency Tree Fund we aim to increase canopy cover throughout the county
It’s vital now more than ever utilise our open green spaces to respond to the nature and climate emergency we are facing. Tree planting projects such as this will build connectivity between existing habitats, improve ecosystem resilience as well as create inviting and enjoyable places to visit.
We are always looking for schools, businesses and community groups to get involved with our tree planting schemes so if you are interested in volunteering please get in touch via woodlandpledge@wrexham.gov.uk
You can also lend your support for the protection of trees and woodlands within Wrexham through the Wrexham Woodland Pledge on our website Wrexham Woodland Pledge | Wrexham County Borough Council and through facebook and twitter
