Another week of home-schooling is here and everyone is very proud of how parents have risen to the challenge of coping with home-schooling.

Our schools too are doing a fantastic job looking after children of essential workers.

To all of you, we say “Thank You” and keep up the good work.

Please remember to also look after your own well-being and do not be too concerned about following school routines. We all want happy parents and children when this is all over.

Get Digital!

Get lesson plans, conversation starters, activities, videos and other resources to help young people become empowered in a digital world. Resources for parents, carers and teacher.

Wrexham Funded Early Education

There’s a great new Facebook page to help and signpost with home schooling ideas.

Elsa has produced a story book to explain the Coronavirus to children……. Find out more here.

Wildlife Watch has lots of activities from making your own natural dyes, making your own binoculars to making music with nature. Great fun too. You can find them on this link.

Don’t forget Hwb

Every learner in Wales can get hold of distance learning resources through their Hwb account. These include: Office 365, Microsoft Education Edition, G Suite, Google Classroom and Just2Easy. It’s a fantastic resource so please make full use of it.

Having another ‘night in?’

As the galleries in Tŷ Pawb are temporarily closed, they will be delivering an alternative programme for the time being – ‘Tŷ Pawb Arts at Home’.

They’ll be making aspects of our exhibition programme available online, and working with artists to create projects for you to take part in at home. They want to help audiences feel connected to us and to one another, in artful ways.

They’re also looking forward to showcasing all your creative outputs as part of an open exhibition at Tŷ Pawb, later this year.

They Live stream of Friday night gigs too from 7.30 pm
