Wrexham Museum will be staging a display this autumn to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War. It is an opportunity to remember those who were killed in action or died of wounds, and also those who survived fighting in what was seen as the ‘war to end all wars’.
If you have photographs of family members who served and died, or who served and survived, that you are prepared to lend for the display, along with their medals or other memorabilia, please contact the Collections Centre at Wrexham Museum on 01978 297 460 or email museumcollections@wrexham.gov.uk
All loan items will be returned to their owners at the end of the exhibition following the centenary anniversary of the peace treaties signed in July 1919.
