If you visit, you’ll be treated to a network of paths guiding you through the landscape and an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife (including some very pretty blue butterflies this time of year).
The park also contains mining artefacts – a coal wagon and cutting disc to celebrate the park’s industrial heritage.
It’s a nice, quirky place to visit, so go and have a look for yourself…there’s a car parking area off Middleton Terrace at the lower entrance to the park, and a smaller area at the top of Chirk Green Road.
