Tŷ Pawb’s gallery has been transformed into a huge indoor adventure playground as part of the exhibition Play-Work and it’s been very popular with over 8623 visiting since it opened in August.
It’s a fully interactive play area designed in collaboration with the artists, Ludicology, Tŷ Pawb staff, our Play & Youth Support Team and Wrexham’s adventure playgrounds. It’s got everything for kids to enjoy what they do best – playing.

Tons of sand were shipped in for the exhibition which has been the highlight of the exhibition – although we suspect there’s a little less now than when it first opened. 🙂
The exhibition closes on October 27 so there’s just a few days left to make sure your little ones get a chance to be a part of this amazing exhibition – the first of its type in Wrexham.
Here’s what some visitors thought:
A-MAZING! This is GENIUS! Such an awesome thing for kids to experience and to read about! The play support guy was helpful and full of positivity and encouragement! What a brilliant thing! Thanks Tý Pawb!
Just been to the work play area for children with quite a few children aged between 7 months and 4 years. It was brilliant, a lovely, well thought out area for them to explore their imaginations and exert some energy. Highly recommended x
We loved it. Such a great exhibition for kids. My little one loved playing on the horizontal slides and digging in the sand.
We’ve visited 3 times so far. We’ve really enjoyed it. X
My daughter loves the chalk wall and jumping onto the mat. She was chuffed to be able to do the fireman’s pole for the first time with a little help from one of the play workers. Such a fantastic area.
The exhibition is funded by Arts Council Wales and Arts and Business Cymru. It is sponsored by local Wrexham firm, Grosvenor ApTec Ltd.
