This Sunday will see the annual Mayor’s Civic Service take place at the beautiful St Giles Church in Wrexham.
Councillor Tina Mannering, who recently took up office as Mayor of Wrexham, is looking forward to welcoming people to the event this weekend, which will be overseen by the Revd Petra Goodband.
There will dignitaries and guests of the Mayor attending, and a warm invitation is also extended to members of the public.
The service will start at 11am.
The Mayor said: “It’s a wonderful honour to serve as Mayor of Wrexham and even though I’m just a few weeks into the role, I’ve been tremendously busy meeting people and representing the city. I’m very much looking forward to the service at St Giles this Sunday, and it will be lovely to see everyone.”
