BRAND NEW EVENT

A brand new event is coming to Wrexham this summer in support of Nightingale House.

On the 29th of July, Motorfest will land at Penyllan farm, Wrexham Road, Marchwiel.

The event will be free entry and open between 10am – 4pm (donations will be gratefully accepted).

WHAT TO EXPECT

The family friendly event aimed at auto enthusiasts will feature a range of car exhibits, an arena for shows and displays, a fairground, stalls and an area for food and drink vendors.

Get this date in your diary – further information will be announced in due course!

RAISING VITAL FUNDS

Funds raised will go directly towards supporting and caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones across Wrexham.

The event sees Wrexham Council events staff team up with Nightingale House to put on an event, raising vital funds for the hospice

Elise Jackson, Events and Campaigns Manager for Nightingale House said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Wrexham County Borough Councils support for the event. “The council’s involvement will enable us to raise even more towards the vital work that Nightingale House Hospice does.”

Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead Member for Economy & Regeneration said: “Nightingale House is a fantastic Wrexham based charity that provides vital support to those who need it during difficult times. “I hope the event raises plenty of funding to help them continue their invaluable service. “There is definitely potential for the Motorfest event to be a great annual addition to Wrexham’s growing events calendar, and that it can build year on year to make it one of the premier motoring events in the area.”
