We’re inviting people to come and speak to us at a drop in session taking place at Gwersyllt Resource Centre on Wednesday, October 2 about plans to improve access to Gwersyllt Railway Station.
Officers will be on hand from 10am in the morning until 7.30pm in the evening, so you can drop by and share your thoughts on proposed changes to five routes to Gwersyllt Railway Station.
The proposed changes to these routes will make them safer for pedestrians and cyclists and are part of Wrexham Council’s, Welsh Government-approved, Active Travel Network Maps project.
Online consultation closes soon
The online Gwersyllt Railway Station access consultation is still available for people to complete until Sunday, October 13.
This is a joint consultation between Wrexham Council, Transport for Wales and consultancy firm, Atkins Realis.
To find out more, and to submit your thoughts, go to the Have your say today Gwersyllt Active Travel improvements page.
“We really want your thoughts on this”
Cllr David A Bithell, Deputy Leader with responsibility for strategic transport, said: “If you use Gwersyllt Railway Station, or would do if it was safer to get to, please come and share your views at Gwersyllt Resource Centre on October 2, between 10am and 7.30pm.
“If you can’t make it to the drop in session, there’s still time to complete the online consultation which is live until October 13. We really want your thoughts on this, so please take the time to complete it if you can.”
