If you want a career in social care and are over 18, this event is for you.

Gwersyllt Resource Centre will be holding an open afternoon, giving you the opportunity to talk to supported individuals, service managers and support workers about working in the social care sector.

The event takes place on Thursday, July 27 between 12.30pm and 4pm.

We’re looking for people who are caring and understanding, and like every day to be different and challenging.  You’ll also get paid while you get skilled.

“…great opportunity…”

Cllr Joan Lowe, Lead Member for Health and Adult Social Care, said: “Working in social care can be very rewarding and this is a great opportunity to not only work in the sector, but to obtain valuable experience and qualifications to continue in the profession.”

The event is brought to you by the council’s Workforce Development team.

The team is working in partnership with Wrexham ITEC, who will offer a range of relevant training and experience to enable you to become fully-qualified and help you gain further employment in the care sector.
