Over 325 local children and adults descended on Plas Pentwyn Resource Centre, Coedpoeth, on Saturday, October 28 to celebrate Halloween in style!

Every year the management committee, consisting of 12 local volunteers, try to do something different.  This year, the event included a ‘spooky games’ room where members of the committee handmade items such as a horror box which had brains and dead man’s fingers inside (jelly and sausages).  Other games included ‘Splat the Spook’ and ‘Tin Can Alley’.  All of these spooky games were put on alongside a disco, a craft room and a ghost hunt with real spooks along the way!

TELL US HOW YOU THINK WE SHOULD SAVE £13M. FILL-IN THE QUESTIONNAIRE NOW.

Stacey Deere, Centre Manager, said: “The Halloween party at Plas Pentwyn was a huge success with the local community. It was great to see so many children and adults enjoying themselves.  Plas Pentwyn is very lucky to have such an active Management Committee who are dedicated to putting on community activities for everyone to enjoy.”

The project received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.

Fill-in our questionnaire now, and make sure you have your say on proposed budget-savings.
