A course funded by the Community First Caia and Hightown Partnership has seen students celebrate after each passed their Introduction to Social Care course.
The course supports people to develop the knowledge and skills and gives them the confidence to gain employment in social care. It is a 7 week course and 9 students made the grade and passed the course.

During the course one individual gained employment and three have since gained employment. Two have decided to continue with their education.
Lead member for Health and Adult Social Care, Cllr Joan Lowe, passed on her congratulations to those involved and said: “It is vitally important that we help equip people with the right skills to progress into work or further education. Everyone has done very well and they should all be proud of themselves.”
