If your child is taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge, or would like to, week four of the summer holiday is for them.

The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge is sports and games, and Wrexham Libraries and the Reading Agency are teaming up with Xplore to host sports science sessions for the family.

Take a look at the list of libraries and the Ready, Set, Read sessions below. All sessions are free and for children aged 4-11 years:

Monday, August 14
Chirk Library 11am-12pm
Rhos Library 2-3pm

Tuesday, August 15
Brynteg Library 11am-12pm
Llay Library:2-3pm

Wednesday, August 16
Wrexham Library 11am-12pm / 2-3pm

Thursday, August 17
Ruabon Library 11am-12pm
Cefn Mawr Library 2-3pm

Friday, August 18
Coedpoeth Library 11am-12pm
Gwersyllt Library 2-3pm

Free swimming is back for the summer holidays!

It’s fun, it’s free, and it can get messy! Time to play throughout the summer…
