We would like to remind our residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service that collections are reduced during the winter period of December, January and February. Residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service will still get at least one garden waste collection in each month from December-February.

Reducing the collections during these months frees up staff to help us deal with any issues caused by the cold weather, such as gritting routes or general maintenance. The usual fortnightly collections will then resume in March, when demand increases, ready for the spring season.

Residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service are also reminded that the current garden waste collection has been extended to run until February 28, 2025.

Please remember, the three household recycling centres have garden waste skips should you need to use them.

It’s advisable to check sign up for our email alerts so you don’t miss any collections. You can also check your bin day which can help to keep you on track.

More information on the garden waste collection service can be found on our website.

Reminder – Your garden waste collections run until February 2025 – Wrexham Council News
