We want to issue a reminder to residents who are signed up to the garden waste collection service that the current service is valid until February 2025.
If you use the service, you may notice that your bin sticker says that collections expire at the end of August, but that’s not the case. Last year the service was extended until February 2025.
The current garden waste service now runs until February 28, 2025. Please ignore the information on your bin sticker as it’s not up to date. We will NOT be sending out new stickers to cover the period August 2024- February 2025.
Don’t try to renew yet
If we collect your garden waste, please be aware that renewals are NOT currently open. You will be able to renew for the upcoming 2025/26 service in the New Year. We will let you know the renewal details when they are available.

To avoid any confusion, we’ll be turning off online payments at the end of the month. Any new subscribers who want to join for the remainder of the current service (November 2024 – February 2025) will need to call Streetscene on 01978 298989 to make a card payment.
