Entries to our Calendar competition have started to come in and they’re looking really good.

The judges are getting really excited and are hoping to see a selection of photos all taken right here in the county borough. And why not, we do have three of the Wonders of Wales, two national trust properties and the magnificent aqueduct at Ponty.

There’s also our country parks, unique and brilliant architecture in our churches and old buildings, bridges, canals and of course the many waterways that flow through the county borough. And let’s not forget the events we’ve had over the past few months – St David’s Day Parade, Play Day, Under the Arches or the RAF 100 celebrations.

The closing date for entries is the 23 October so there’s still plenty of time to get out and get snapping.

Entries should be sent to calendar@wrexham.gov.uk.

“Taken at any time of the year”

The images can be taken at any time of the year by an amateur photographer but they must be of somewhere in the county borough. 13 images will be included in the 2019 Calendar – one for the front cover and one for each month of the year. Please bear in mind the size of the images printed will be 295mm x 295mm and images should be cropped to this size or large enough to be cropped to this size.

Good luck!

Terms and conditions apply. You can check them out here.
