A new online collection of photos and pictures that celebrate the cultural traditions we proudly continue at home launched earlier today!
With people currently spending more time at home, Sharing From Home was created to give people an opportunity to think about and appreciate the things they value most at home.
Developed by the North East Wales Regional Cohesion Team and funded by Welsh Government, the online exhibition is now live.
People have been sending in their photographs and pictures over the past few weeks and you can now view the collection in its entirety here…
The collection was deliberately launched today, on World Cultural Diversity Day, as it wants to showcase the diversity we have in our local communities and give us something we can all be proud of.
Gareth Hall, Regional Cohesion Officer at Wrexham Council, said: “So much of our home life is a celebration of our cultural traditions – from everything we put on our walls and shelves, to the food on our tables, to all the games, habits and rituals that are part of each day.
“There is so much we can learn from each other if we all come together to share a piece of our culture – and being a part of this project is a free, fun way to be as creative as you like with your photos and pictures.”
