There’s plenty going on at Tŷ Pawb this weekend as the venue gears up for its Autumn activities.
Their weekend starts tonight with a chance to catch local band Blue Genes who are bringing together a host of the fine musicians and songwriters for an intimate theatre show featuring some of the UK’s best American and Country artists. You can read more here .

Saturday kicks off with the Saturday Art Club between 10am and 12pm. It’s suitable for children between 7 and 11 and costs £6.00 per session (£4 for siblings).
“Choirs galore”
Tŷ Pawb is also one of the venues for the Singing Streets Festival and there’s choirs galore to entertain visitors starting at 11am with Bitesize Children who will be followed by Bitesize Adults, Fireflies, Ysgol Bodhyfryd, Côr Clwyd, Kaboodle and Dragon Song will finish the day at 3pm.
Sophia Leadhill will be facepainting with an Alice in Wonderland theme between 2pm and 5pm before District-14 Youth Theatre group to bring you a weird and wonderful adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Although Saturday’s performance is sold out there’s still room for Sunday’s performance. There is more about this further on.
Join us at Tŷ Pawb on the Saturday night of FRESHERS WEEK for a night of live music from Saving Violet, a live DJ, food and drink in our food court, drinking games, a photo booth, t-shirt printing and more! You can find out further information here.
“Table top sale”
If that’s not enough there’s a full day’s activities on Sunday beginning with a table top sale between 9am and 2pm. You can just come and browse or have your own table. There’s more about this here.
There’s a family crafts hour between 11am and 2pm, which is free for families. There’s a different craft theme each week.

Alice in Wonderland shows again between 2pm and 3pm and so far there’s still tickets available for this event. Tickets cost £5 and can be bought online at https://www.the-learning-collective.com/shop.
“And finally….”
There’s the Launch of Black History Month the month long, pan-Wales celebrations of the contributions made by people of African descent in Wales. There’ll be amazing artists and performances by Capoeira Mocambo & Bloco Sŵn, Lizzi£ Squad, African Dance with Lisinayte Gomes Lopes/ Bawso and poetry with Ali Goolyad/ National Theatre Wales. As well as these great events there’s fantastic food on offer in the Food Court and plenty of market stalls for you to browse through – maybe even check out some early Christmas presents!
