Our popular Tourist Information Centre on Queen’s Square is supporting the ever-growing visitor offer within Wrexham town centre by reopening again on a Saturday from July 7!

It’ll be open between 10am 3pm each Saturday.

Town Centre footfall data, recorded for the last 18-months, also shows that visitor numbers continue to rise due in part to the constant event programme and activities taking place in town each weekend.

Add to this retail offer, the collective attractions of Ty Pawb, St Giles Church, Wrexham Museum and Techniquest and you’ve got yourself a busy town centre with lots of visitors who will benefit from the Tourist Information Centre reopening on a Saturday.

As well as visitor information and advice, the shop also now retails a wide variety of local gifts and produce including Wrexham Lager, Aber Falls Gin, Rosie’s Cider, Aballu Chocolate, Halen Mon salt, Penderyn Whiskey, Dylan’s Sauces, Mrs Picklepot’s Jams and Tweedmill rugs amongst other items.

Lead Member for Economy & Regeneration, Cllr Terry Evans added; “It’s fantastic to see that the team are reopening on a Saturday to support the wider visitor offer within the town centre! Tourism plays a major role in supporting Wrexham’s economy and the service that the staff within the Tourist Information Centre provide only enhances the overall experience and first impressions in town.”

The Tourist Information Centre is open six days a week (Mon to Fri 10am – 4pm) and Saturdays from July 7 (10am – 3pm).
