From Monday 12 April, all shops in Wrexham including non-essential retail will be able to reopen.
Right now traders in The Butchers Market, General Market and Tŷ Pawb’s market hall and food court (take away only) are getting to ready to give you a really warm welcome back to the town centre.
We’ve also enhanced Queen’s Square and Henblas Street with tree planting and refurbished the central bench in Queen’s Square to make sure everywhere looks good for when you return.

This is an important time to help support our local businesses. But remember – the virus has not gone away and it is just as important as ever to stay safe as lockdown measures continue to be eased.
It’s still essential though that we all keep following social distancing guidelines, use the hand sanitisers available in the shops and markets and wear a face mask unless you are exempt.
Our social distancing champions will once again be out and about to assist you and answer any queries.
- The Butchers Market is open 9am-4pm, Monday-Saturday (9am-1.30pm on Wednesdays).
- The General Market is currently open 9am-4pm Monday-Saturday (closed on Wednesdays).
- Wrexham’s weekly outdoor market is held every Monday throughout the year on Queens Square from 9am-4pm.
- Tŷ Pawb’s market and food court is open 10am-4pm, Monday to Saturday. Selected food court traders will be open until 6pm for take away.
