We’d like to say a massive thank you to Allington Hughes Law who have once again sponsored the magnificent Christmas tree that’s now in place on Queen’s Square.

Amanda Davies, Town Centre, Markets and Events Manager went to take a look at the tree and met with staff from Allington Hughes Law. She said: “It’s a beautiful tree and has already been very well received on our social media. To many of us the arrival of the tree and the turning on of the lights is the start of Christmas and I would like to thank Allington Hughes Law for once again bringing this centre piece of our decorations to Wrexham town centre.”

Alison Stace, Managing Director, from Allington Hughes Law, said: “We are delighted to offer our support and to sponsor such an iconic piece of the Christmas festivities in Wrexham. The light switch on is a great event which the community look forward to every year and we are happy to provide such a beautiful tree to compliment the celebrations.

Thousands are expected this evening for the official turn on of the lights which also marks the start of late night shopping in the town centre.

TELL US HOW YOU THINK WE SHOULD SAVE £13M. FILL-IN THE QUESTIONNAIRE NOW.

In addition to buying new lights we are also encouraging shoppers to the town centre by offering free car parking in town centre parks throughout December and early January.

This year Santa’s grotto will return to Queen’s square and will open on 2 December with tickets costing just £4.50.
