Wrexham Council wants to know if you provide unpaid care to a friend, family member or neighbour, who could not manage without that support?

If you do, we want to know about your experiences as an unpaid carer accessing services in Wrexham and are asking you to complete our unpaid carers survey. It’s an opportunity for you to let us know what is working well and what could be done better and you have until August 31, 2023 to complete it.

Cllr John Pritchard, Lead Member for Adult Social Care said, “This survey is really important to us. We want to make sure we are listening to unpaid carers in Wrexham and are providing the services, advice and information they need. The results from this survey will help us to shape the support we offer to unpaid carers. I would encourage anyone who provides unpaid care to fill out the survey.”

NEWCIS (North East Wales Carers Information Service) are the provider of unpaid carers services in Wrexham. They run groups, offer advice, information and support and undertake carer needs assessments (what matters conversations) on behalf of Wrexham Council.
