Unable to vote because you’re unwell? You can request a proxy vote

If you find out at short notice that you can’t get to the polling station because:

• You’ve been asked to self isolate by Test, Trace and Protect
• You’re feeling unwell
• You’ll be away on polling day

There’s no need to worry.

You can request a proxy vote until 5pm on the day of the election.

A proxy vote is when you nominate someone you trust to cast your vote for you at the polling station.
