We Care Wales Week takes place between 11 and 17 October which will shine a light on what working in social care, early years and Childcare is really like.

The week’s aim is to highlight the variety of jobs that are available in the sector and to give the social care sector the recognition it deserves for all it’s hard work!

Work in social care and be the lifeline your community needs.

In Wrexham there’s people right now who are waiting for care and we’re looking to encourage as many as possible to take a look at what this rewarding job has to offer.

Please keep an eye out on our social media to see We Care Wales case studies to help you make the move into social care.

If you want to find out more about working in social care in Wrexham please email wrexcare@wrexham.gov.uk

Cllr John Pritchard, Lead Member for Health and Adult Social Care, said, “There’s opportunities right now for people to move into social care employment in Wrexham and we’re doing everything we can to encourage people to find out more and make the move.

“Full training is provided and you will be supported every step of the way. It’s not all about working with adults but also with children and young people so please take the time to find out more and consider working in this rewarding field.”

If you’re looking for a new career and want to help people in your community, a job in social care could be the right move.
