We need a lawyer who can make a big difference to young lives

How we’re addressing concerns and improving our children’s services

At Wrexham Council, it’s our job to look out for young people who need our help. That’s a massive responsibility, and we don’t take it lightly.

Part of that role involves safeguarding children and young people through the courts, and maybe that’s where you come in?

We’re looking for a lawyer to help us manage legal work around child-care, and provide advice to our children’s services teams.

Interested?

You’ll need to be a qualified solicitor, barrister or fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (with litigation advocacy rights). And you’ll need to have experience of advocacy in the courts.

So if you think you might have the right skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Working for a council can be a good career option – it usually comes with a pension, good leave allowance, relative stability and flexibility.
