“It’s amazing that I’m getting recognised in my own country”. Bethan Owen, Young Person Award winner 2019

The St David’s Awards are the National Awards of Wales. Nominees don’t have to be UK citizens or live in Wales, but they must have a meaningful link to Wales.

The finalists and winners are selected by the First Minister of the Welsh Government and his advisors.

“We pride ourselves on finding the best in people and giving people a chance”. Scott Davies, Enterprise Award winner 2019

Each year there are nine St David’s Awards, the first eight of which are nominated by the public.

The categories are…
• Bravery
• Community Spirit
• Culture
• Business
• Innovation, Science and Technology
• Humanitarian
• Sport
• Young Person
• First Minister’s Special Award

The closing date for nominations is Thursday, October 17, so you don’t have long to have your say. Get in touch now!
