Repair and maintenance of traditional buildings
A two-day course, on the repair and maintenance of traditional (pre-1919) buildings, will take place at Tŷ Pawb on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25.
The course is a Level 3 award accredited by CITB, and will give those attending a practical understanding or maintaining and repairing pre-1919 buildings – along with the challenges associated with their maintenance.
The course is suitable for building professionals and contractors.
What sort of skills will I learn?
During the two-day course, you’ll learn about things such as:
- Traditional buildings – their mechanics and significance
- Specialist investigation techniques
- Planning work on historic buildings
- The principles of alteration
…and many more.
The course is free to attend, as the course fees are being paid through the Traditional Building Skills Programme, in partnership with Cadwyn Clwyd.
This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
There is an allowance available of up £70 for companies registered with CITB.
