As a result of funding becoming available for re-allocation, Wrexham County Borough Councils Business and Investment team will be re-opening Expressions of Interest for the Wrexham Business Grant on Thursday 18th July 2024 at 12pm (midday). The window of opportunity to submit an expression of interest is likely to be extremely short.

If you would be interested in submitting an Expression of Interest, please take this time to prepare by reading through the grant schemes eligibility criteria and qualifying spending, objectives and when outputs need to be achieved and the application process. You’ll also be able to find the questions you’ll need to answer as part of an Expression of Interest in advance via the submit and expression of interest page.

To submit an Expression of Interest the lead applicant will need to register for a MyAccount (which you can do now, in advance) to manage the enterprises application.

Please note; projects need to be fully complete by 31st October 2024. Successful applicants (who accept a formal grant offer), will need to submit a grant claim form (by 31st October 2024 at the latest). The claim form will need to include sufficient evidence that agreed outputs have been achieved and that the project has been completed in line with the terms and conditions, in order to receive a grant retrospectively.

Funding for the grant is provided by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
