Wrexham v Birmingham | Friday, October 3 | 8pm kick-off

Going to the match this Friday? Remember the Park & Ride at Ruthin Road…

Before the match

Parking outside Wrexham Council’s offices at Ruthin Road, Wrexham LL13 7TU

Buses will run every 20 minutes starting at 6pm; last bus 7.20pm.

After the match

Buses will run every 20 minutes starting at 10pm from Mold Road; last bus 11.20pm.

Note that previously, the first buses post-match went from Dunelm Mill, but improvements to the service mean that all buses after the game now run from Mold Road.

Just £1 return for adults (50p for children)

Car park closes at 11.59pm.

The aim of the park and ride is to reduce congestion.

Using the Ruthin Road Park & Ride also means that your car is parked safely and conveniently. On matchdays, parking enforcement officers will be out and about to make sure that cars are not parked illegally or dangerously in and around the city centre.

Councillor David A Bithell, deputy leader of the council and lead member for housing and climate change, said: “Wrexham AFC has an ever-increasing fan base, which is brilliant news for the club and the city – but it also creates an increased demand for match-day parking.

“As a result, we’re continuing to work with Arriva North West & Wales to operate and improve the dedicated shuttle bus service to complement the match-day parking available at our Ruthin Road site.

“With this service, we’re aiming to reduce traffic congestion and offer convenient match-day parking for football fans. With the improved service offering a pick up from Mold Road immediately after the game, we encourage fans to make use of the park and ride scheme.”
