The Ruthin Road park and ride service proved popular last Saturday when Wrexham took on Premier League side Chelsea when the number of cars nearly doubled.
Is it any wonder, when it provides cheap, legal and convenient parking – with no risk of a parking fine? And there is still plenty of space, so make sure you make it part of your match day ritual – with no risk of a parking ticket!

The park and ride on Ruthin Road aims to prevent illegal, dangerous and inconsiderate parking – better for both fans who are going to the match and residents who live within walking distance of the Racecourse.
Councillor David A Bithell, Deputy Leader with responsibility for strategic transport said: “Match day parking is always challenging – but it’s excellent to see so many cars parking at Ruthin Road (for free) and people travelling by our dedicated Arriva Park and Ride service, just £1.00 return. We are working proactively with Wrexham AFC and Arriva on match days to reduce congestion around the stadium and clearly some of the actions we are taking are having a positive effect.
“The park and ride service is operating at every home game and will be open again for the match against Swansea City on Friday night.”
