Xgas who are a gas and oil, plumbing and heating company based in Rhostyllen are celebrating 20 years of business this year, they are a Worcester Bosch Service Partner and our Lead Member for Environment and Regeneration, Cllr Nigel Williams, recently paid them a visit to find out what has made them so successful.

Directors Paul Jones and Alan Taylor started the business in 2003 and have successfully expanded their company and workforce over the last 20 years as they have built up a large and loyal customer base in Wrexham, Chester and surrounding areas.

During his visit Nigel spoke with Paul along with Operations manager Kerry Powell and Accounts manager Joanne Taylor and they told him, “We are immensely proud of how the company has grown from being just Paul & Alan when it started in 2003 to our current team of 22 employees. From the start we were determined to offer our customers the highest level of service and customer care and through the hard work of our amazing team here at Xgas we have become the largest installer of Worcester Bosch boilers in the area.

Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead member for Environment and Regeneration, said, “They have a highly dedicated team of staff and are continually expanding their workforce. They’re customer service is second to none so it’s no wonder they’re highly rated by their customers.”

“Wrexham has a wealth of companies who offer quality and service and Xgas is no exception. I’d like to wish them success for the next 20 years of trading right here in Wrexham.”

Paul added, “Alan and myself and all the team at Xgas would like to say a big thank you to all of our customers who have supported us over the last 20 years and we sincerely hope that we can continue to be of service to you all for many years to come”
