Along with FCC Environment, our waste management partner in Wrexham, we want to remind people we take a zero tolerance stance to abuse of staff at our recycling centres.

RespectOur three recycling centres

Any physical or verbal abuse of our staff simply won’t be tolerated. Anyone found to be abusive towards our staff will be banned from our recycling centres and may be reported to the police.

Respect

Please respect our staff at all times at the household recycling centres. Verbal and physical abuse towards our staff is unacceptable, and not something that they should experience as they go about their job.

Zero tolerance for abuse of staff at our recycling centres

On the whole, we find that local residents are very friendly during their visit and appreciate that items need to be sorted into the correct areas for us to recycle and process items effectively. However, it’s a shame that on occasions some residents haven’t shared this view and felt it was acceptable to abuse our staff – it’s not.

Our three recycling centres

If you need a reminder, you can find our recycling centres at…

Bryn Lane, Wrexham Industrial Estate
Wynnstay Bank, Plas Madoc
The Lodge, Brymbo

Visit the council website to find a detailed list of materials that can be recycled at our centres.
