Christmas at Wrexham Library

Santa at Ty Pawb

Christmas is about to get started in Wrexham Library as they open up their letter box for your letters to Santa.

So, if your child is thinking of writing a letter to Father Christmas this year, why not send it from Wrexham Library? Once again this year they will be collecting your Christmas letters and sending them off to everyone’s favourite jolly, bearded gentleman. Simply collect your writing paper from the library counter, create your list, post your letters to Santa in the festive post box and receive a reply from the man himself! Replies will be available within a week, and available to collect from around our festive display. This is open to all children, young and old and runs from November 26 – December 21.

A BAD DEAL FROM WELSH GOVERNMENT MEANS WE’RE FORCED TO MAKE MORE CUTS. HAVE YOUR SAY…

You can also join in a Christmas Crafternoon in aid of Mind, the mental health charity. Call in to the library on December 1, 1-4pm and enjoy an afternoon of festive crafting, making Christmas decorations and cards. Tea, coffee and baked goods will also be available, with all proceeds going to Mind. So why not come along and help us raise money for this important charity, boosting your own mental well-being in the process with some therapeutic crafting. This is a drop-in session, there is no need to book. All ages are welcome.

Finally, did you also know that Wrexham Library has also extended its opening hours – so even more time to think about what to put on that list to Santa!

Here are the new opening hours:
Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Saturday 9am-4pm
Sunday Closed

We have to make even more cuts…and ask taxpayers for more money. But before we do anything, we want to know what you think.
