Enjoy Halloween at Home – Respect, protect and enjoy

We’re supporting N Wales Police as they ask people to celebrate Halloween at home this year – even more important as we are experiencing a circuit break to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

It will be really disappointing for small children but they can still get dressed up, decorate the house and garden and parents can do lots of things to make the occasion memorable for them.

Protect the people you love. Download the Covid-19 NHS app.

Carving pumpkins, making crafts, and creating a spooky trail around your house or garden are all ways to celebrate Halloween at home with younger children.

North Wales Police has also come up with lots of downloadable fun activities for the youngsters to do at home – such as colouring sheets and a wordsearch. People can send us photos of their creations via social media by using #NWPHalloween and there may be opportunities to win a prize.

Cllr Hugh Jones, Lead Member for Communities, Partnerships, Public Protection and Community Safety, said: “It’s once again a very difficult and anxious time but the circuit break is necessary to protect the health and well-being of everyone in Wrexham and across Wales. Please help keep Halloween an enjoyable but safe experience for young people and we all hope that by doing so we are all helping to keep Wrexham safe.

Download the Covid-19 NHS app…and help keep Wrexham safe this autumn.
