It’s nearly here!
On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August, Tŷ Pawb and new neighbors Xplore! Science Discovery Centre will be teaming up to bring an extravaganza of science to Wrexham town centre!
There will be all kinds of amazing family friendly activities taking place at both venues over the weekend, as well as outside, in between the two venues on Chester Street.
Expect exploding custard, VR experiences, robots, stagazing, retro video games, lego, circus skills, enormous bubbles and lots, lots more!
There will also be an amazing opportunity to see a live tour of the CERN laboratory in Geneva – home of The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator.

Astronomy Evening (Xplore)
We have a special in person Astronomy Evening @XploreScienceUK looking at the vastness of space in all its glory.
Talks, activities and an out of this world planetarium make this an evening perfect for all ages.
Exploding Custard Show
The Exploding Custard Show from @ianrusselluk is a spectacular and light-hearted look at more experiments than you’ll be able to remember.
Be warned: you may find unusual things happening on your kitchen table afterwards…
Bubble Show
The Bubble show from @ianrusselluk is a chance to ‘paint the air’ with some of the Biggest bubbles you have ever seen.

The discovery of the Higgs Boson was one of the most exciting discoveries of science – could you have found the Higgs Boson yourself?

Join us as we take you around Wales to learn about our unsung Welsh Scientists.

@hafrendcymru brings the Digibus to Chester Street. A VR experience where you can track a raindrop from the its journey from the sky all the way to the sea. You can also explore a Minecraft version of the Severn River

You’ll be able to play games like ‘flush it or bin it’, ‘leakage twister’ and ‘pipe buzzer’ to learn about water resource.
Wrexham Safari Tour
Discover nature within the heart of Wrexham on a Wrexham Safari tour. From ferns growing between the bricks to the birds sheltering in the green spaces, a surprising cast of characters can be found living alongside people
Come and create your own little book filled with fossils and minerals.
