From Monday 1 August 2022 Blue Badge holders will no longer be charged to park in council operated car parks in Wrexham.

Get news and info from your local council – sign-up for email bulletins.

The car parks where this applies are:

  • Crescent Road
  • Guildhall
  • The Library
  • Market Street
  • St George’s Crescent
  • St Giles
  • Waterworld
  • Tŷ Pawb
  • Ruabon Station
  • Wrexham Technology Park

All country parks remain free to Blue Badge holders

Clear signage will be displayed at all car parks.

You can find out where our car parks with disabled parking are here.

Cllr Mark Pritchard, Leader of the Council, said, “I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to remove charges for disabled drivers. The town centre remains accessible to all regardless of disability.

“We also offer free parking for everyone from 11am each day in council owned car parks in the town centre except Tŷ Pawb so please feel able to visit and take advantage of our fantastic independent traders and hospitality venues.”
