The National Theatre Wales TEAM has spent the last four years in Wrexham getting to know the local community, the people and the place, asking what issues matter to them most. They chose the themes of home and homelessness as inspiration for this project.

A Proper Ordinary Miracle is a performance that will lead you around the city. Venturing through the streets of Wrexham and stopping off at landmarks along the way. It’s taking place on Tuesday 15 November at 7pm with, Wednesday 16 November at 3pm and Thursday 17 November at 7pm.

Help with the cost of living – claim what’s yours, reduce your bills, look after your health.

Accessible performances are available on Friday 18 November at 7pm with BSL interpretation, Saturday 19 November at 11am with Audio Described with Touch Tour prior to the performance and at 3pm with BSL interpretation and finally on Sunday 20 November at 3pm with Audio Described with Touch Tour prior to the performance.

Imagine the scenario:

“A property developer arrives in town with plans to build a swanky new Super Centre,
some are seduced, others suspicious. As the machines move in, a rebellion is born and lines between protest and power are drawn.

Follow these characters as they guide you on a theatrical journey around Wrexham,
shining a light on the politics of place, space and the systems we all play a part in.

Who can call Wrexham home? The fate of the city, its people and its future lies in your hands.”

Pay what you decide

“For all performances of A Proper Ordinary Miracle, you can choose to pay a price that best for you. There are multiple prices to choose from. We know price is a barrier for some, so those who can afford to pay a little more for their ticket will help us to support those who can’t.”

You can get further information and book tickets online at National Theatre Wales.

When it comes to the cost of living, making sure you claim all the help and support you’re entitled to could make a huge difference.
