How to kick off the summer holiday for free!

This summer there are loads of activities for children all across the county borough, so to start our series of summer holiday activity articles here is a round-up of what you can do over the next couple of weeks…for free!

Make and Take Lego building sessions

Meet Steve Guinness, the Brick Consultant and Channel 4’s LEGOMASTER Champion, and have fun building with Lego and get a small kit to take home! Suitable for age 4+.

These one-hour sessions are FREE, but booking is essential. Take a look at the times and venues below and book your child’s spot.

The Honey Thief Mystery
Sunday, July 30
1pm-3pm
Follow the trail around the park. Can you solve which insect has stolen honey from the hive? It’s a bug-tastic mystery!

The annual free event for all ages returns; always good fun for the whole family!

Thursday, August 3
Meet on 9 Acre Field, Wrexham.
Primary school ages, 9.30am -12.30pm
Secondary school ages, 1pm – 3pm

Active Wrexham – Tennis
Thursday, August 3
Belleview Park, (turn up and play)
Ages 5-11, 2pm – 4pm

Active Wrexham – Inclusive Multi Sports
Thursday, August 3
St. Christopher’s School
Ages 7-16, 10am – 12pm
Suitable all disabilities and additional needs.

Summertime Children’s Craft Sessions at Cefn Mawr Library
Friday, August 4
Every Friday until 1st September
Ages 4-10 years, 2-3pm
Free, but please book in advance with Seren or Anna on 01978 820938
