Eighty years has passed since VE Day in 1945, and you are invited to be part of the commemoration and celebration in Wrexham city centre.

May 8, 2025, will begin with a service at St. Giles Parish Church at 12.30pm. This service is open to the public, so come along to take part in this drum head service led by the RWF Volunteer Corps of Drums.

At 1.15pm, the RWF Volunteer Corps of Drums will lead the parade from St. Giles Parish Church over to the cenotaph on Bodhyfryd. At this parade, you will be able to see the Standards of the military associations in Wrexham.

You can find out more about the parade route in this article.

What else is happening in Wrexham?
