A record number of parks and green spaces across Wales have reached the high standards required to fly the coveted Green Flag.
Environmental charity Keep Wales Tidy today revealed the 315 sites that have received the internationally renowned Green Flag Award and Green Flag Community Award.
The Flags will be flying at Alyn Waters, Acton Park, Ty Mawr, Acton, Bellevue and Wrexham Cemetery in recognition of their environmental efforts, excellent visitor facilities, and community involvement.

Lead Member for Environment Cllr Terry Evans said “This is great news and thanks must go to all the staff and volunteers who’s hard work is reflected in the quality of our green spaces.
Now in its third decade, the Green Flag Award recognises well-managed parks and green spaces in 20 countries around the world.
In Wales, the awards scheme is run by Keep Wales Tidy. Lucy Prisk, Green Flag Coordinator for Keep Wales Tidy said:
